Interview with Josefine Sandfridsson
Hello you all beautiful people!
I would like to start this blog post to say sorry for not blogging last Sunday but to my defence, I tried to write and post pictures but suddenly it was all deleted so here I am, trying to do a new post. I hope you will enjoy it. Happy Sunday everyone.
Interview with Josefine Sanfridsson, a beautiful Swedish girl who is living her dream in NYC where she studies fashion. Josefine used to live in London where she studied at London college of Fashion.
What is the biggest hair fashion in NYC right now?
Right now, the Parisians inspire hairstyles in New York. The natural look dominates in both hair and makeup. Keep your natural look and waves, and instead of using straighteners or curling irons, focus on deep moisturising conditioners to boost quality hair. If anything, use hairspray to give it a rocky saint Laurent edge or tie up in a messy bun. You see a lot of mid-to-shoulders lengths on the street.
Can you tell the difference between the hair fashion in NYC compared to in London?
For SS17, both London and New York have taken similar direction with hair trends. During both weeks, we saw a mix of continuing natural waves, wet-looking back slicks and low buns and tails (both side and center parting). Also, in shows including Mary Katrantzou was highlighted.
How was it to work during the fashion week?
Its always fun to see what the designers have been working on. This year, I was side by side watching the shows with my dear friend Hannah Rohrmuller, Fashion Assistant at Chic Magazine. One of the highlights was meeting with inspiring fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff before her outdoor gypset-inspired who on show on Greene Street, Soho.
